Autograph Title & Escrow ("Autograph," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, autographtitle.com (the "Site"), and in the course of providing title insurance, escrow, settlement, and related services (the "Services"), how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide to us
- Contact and inquiry information. When you submit a quote request or contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, transaction type, and any details you include in your message.
- Transaction information. If you engage our Services, we collect the information needed to perform a real estate closing, which may include property details, purchase contracts, loan information, government-issued identification, Social Security or taxpayer identification numbers, and financial account information used for escrow and disbursement.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically logs technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies. The Site itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Embedded third-party content described in Section 5 may set its own cookies, subject to those providers' policies.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to quote requests and inquiries submitted through the Site;
- To provide, administer, and complete title, escrow, and settlement Services, including title searches, issuing title insurance policies, and disbursing escrow funds;
- To communicate with you and other parties to your transaction (such as your real estate agent, lender, or attorney) as necessary to close your transaction;
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including Florida insurance regulations, underwriting requirements, and record-retention rules;
- To detect and prevent fraud, including wire fraud, and to protect the security of our operations and escrow accounts;
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
3. Nonpublic personal information (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act)
As a title insurance and settlement services provider, we are a "financial institution" under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). Nonpublic personal information ("NPI") we collect in connection with a transaction is handled in accordance with GLBA and applicable state law. We do not sell NPI, and we do not share it with nonaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes. We disclose NPI only:
- As necessary to effect, administer, or enforce your transaction (for example, to title insurance underwriters, lenders, recording offices, and taxing authorities);
- To service providers who perform functions on our behalf and are bound to protect the information;
- As required or permitted by law, regulation, subpoena, or court order.
4. When we share information
We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
- Transaction parties. With the parties to your real estate transaction and their representatives, as needed to close the transaction.
- Underwriters and regulators. With the title insurance underwriters that issue policies through our agency, and with regulators or auditors as required.
- Service providers. With vendors that support our operations — such as website hosting (Vercel), email delivery for form submissions, banking partners for escrow accounts, and title production software — each limited to the information needed to perform their function.
- Legal requirements. When we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect our rights, prevent fraud, or protect the safety of any person.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, subject to this Policy's protections.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
5. Third-party services on the Site
- Google Maps. Our contact and service-area pages embed Google Maps to display our office location. Google may collect usage data in connection with the embedded map under the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts. The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which may log technical request data such as IP address.
- Hosting. The Site is hosted on Vercel, whose infrastructure processes standard server logs.
6. How we protect your information
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we handle, including encrypted transmission of Site traffic (HTTPS), access controls on transaction files, and verification procedures for escrow disbursements. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but protecting client information and funds is central to how we operate. 7. Data retention
We retain transaction records for as long as required by Florida law, title insurance underwriting agreements, and our regulatory obligations, and thereafter only as long as reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes. Website inquiry submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond and follow up.
8. Your choices and rights
- You may contact us at any time to ask what contact information we hold about you from a Site inquiry, or to request that we correct or delete it (subject to records we are legally required to keep).
- You may opt out of any non-transactional communications from us at any time.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law. We honor valid requests to the extent required.
9. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page; your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
